Ratbag is a trading name of Pandamilk Ltd.

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We've kept it short and in plain English.

What we collect

We only collect information you give us directly. When you fill in our enquiry form, we ask for:

  • Your name

  • Your business name and what your business does

  • Whether you have a website, and the link if you do

  • The package you're interested in

  • Whether you have a logo and photography

  • Any booking or reservation systems you use

  • Anything else you'd like to tell us

  • Your email address

We don't use tracking cookies, analytics pixels, or any third-party trackers on our website.

Why we collect it

We use this information to:

  • Reply to your enquiry

  • Put together a quote for you

  • Deliver the work if you decide to go ahead

  • Keep a record of our client relationships

That's it. We don't use your information for marketing, we don't send newsletters, and we don't share it with anyone for their own purposes.

Where it's stored

Form submissions are collected through Tally and stored in our Notion workspace. Our email runs through Google Workspace. These are reputable services with their own privacy protections in place.

How long we keep it

We keep client information for as long as we're working together, plus seven years afterwards to meet UK accounting and tax requirements. If you enquired but didn't become a client, we'll delete your information within 12 months.

Who we share it with

We don't share your information with anyone except:

  • Our accountant, for tax purposes

  • HMRC or Companies House, if legally required

We never sell your information. We never share it for marketing.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • See what information we hold about you

  • Ask us to correct anything that's wrong

  • Ask us to delete your information

  • Ask us to stop using it

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes we'll email anyone currently working with us.

Terms & Conditions

These are the terms you're agreeing to when you commission us to build a website. We've kept them short and in plain English. If anything isn't clear, ask us.

Ratbag is a trading name of Pandamilk Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

What you're paying for

We build websites on Framer, starting from templates we customise to your business. Packages are:

  • Simple — £500. Up to 4 sections. 1 interactive feature.

  • Standard — £750. Up to 8 sections. Up to 3 interactive features.

  • Bespoke. Priced individually.

The full scope of your project is confirmed in the quote email we send before work starts.

Timings

We aim to deliver your site within 5 working days from the point we have everything we need from you (content, images, logo, access to any systems we're integrating). If you're slow to get content to us, the timeline moves accordingly.

Payment

We take 50% upfront before work starts, and the remaining 50% before the site goes live. Payment is made via GoCardless using a link we email you.

If the final payment isn't made within 14 days of the site being ready, we may hold the site offline until it is.

Revisions

Each package includes two rounds of revisions. A revision round means you send us a consolidated list of changes and we make them together. Further rounds after that are charged at £50 per round.

New pages, new sections, or significant structural changes aren't revisions — they're scope additions, and we'll quote separately.

What happens after launch

Once your site is live, you have two options:

  • Basic. £15/month or £144/year (save 20%). Includes hosting, regular site maintenance and a free domain name on annual plans. Updates charged at £50 per round (changes to words and pictures, as and when you need them).

  • Pro. £30/month or £288/year (save 20%). Includes hosting, regular site maintenance, a free domain name on annual plans, and one round of updates per month. Minor updates means: swapping an image, updating opening hours, changing a menu item, amending contact details. Not new pages, not redesigns, not structural changes.

Managed updates are turned around within 3 working days of you sending them to us.

Ownership

Once the site is paid for in full, the content (your copy, images, and any custom design work) belongs to you. The underlying Framer build, templates, and any code components we've written remain ours, licensed to you for use on your site.

We may show the finished site in our portfolio and on social media unless you ask us not to.

Cancellation

If you want to cancel before we've started work, we'll refund your deposit in full.

If you cancel after work has started, the deposit is non-refundable. If we've done more than 50% of the work, the remaining balance becomes due.

If we can't deliver (illness, unexpected circumstances) we'll refund everything you've paid and let you know as soon as we can.

What we're not responsible for

We're not responsible for:

  • Content or images you supply that infringe someone else's copyright

  • Third-party services we integrate (booking systems, Google Sheets, Instagram feeds) if they break or change their terms

  • Losses caused by your site being temporarily offline

  • Typos or factual errors in content you've provided and signed off

Our total liability is capped at the amount you've paid us.

Problems

If something isn't right, email us at hi@ratbag.studio and we'll try to sort it. We've got professional indemnity and public liability insurance in place through PolicyBee.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
